Sudan Inter-Agency Reference Group
Peacebuild was a founding member of the Sudan Inter-Agency Reference Group. The Sudan Inter-Agency Reference Group (SIARG) was formed in 1998 as a forum for Canadian agencies with programming on Sudan. Member programs include research, public education, peacebuilding and conflict resolution, policy dialogue, advocacy, and relief and development.
The SIARG takes a rights-based and humanitarian approach to the conflict in Sudan and coordinates joint initiatives by its members to help secure a peaceful, just and lasting resolution to the conflict. Peacebuild is a key member of SIARG.

Sudan Issues and Policy Options Briefing—October 2005
This briefing paper was compiled by the Sudan Inter-Agency Reference Group (SIARG) to be considered by the Government of Canada. Policy options are given on issues that include insecurity in Darfur, IDPs, the delivery of humanitarian assistance, and human rights.
