Why Join Peacebuild?
Be part of a vital and effective coalition working to understand and develop effective responses to widespread political and social violence that affects millions of people around the world on a daily basis.
As a member of the Peacebuild network, you will be provided with
opportunities to:
- Attend information sessions, events, debates and participate in policy dialogues that provide insight into Canadian priorities and international developments in the field of peacebuilding;
- Access first-hand information and expertise from key players in the peacebuilding field;
- Network with leading peacebuilding professionals and connect with members and stakeholders across Canada;
- Receive timely and relevant information on network members and on the latest peacebuilding developments and activities via our weekly e-bulletin and monthly e-newsletter;
- Contribute to collaborative research, program and policy work, and publications;
- Join one or more of Peacebuild’s four theme-based Working Groups and Forum;
- Participate in the Sudan InterAgency Reference Group or Afghanistan Reference Group, key mechanisms for NGO-governmental interaction.
