Annual Dialogues
Annual Peacebuilding and Human Security Dialogues
Generally a two-day event, Peacebuild has assisted in coordinating the Annual Peacebuilding and Human Security Dialogues for the past nine years.
Dialogues are focused on specific issues and their general primary objective is the development of concrete policy options. The dialogues also provide a regularized process of consultation and dialogue on Peacebuilding between Canadian civil society organizations, academic institutions, and Government of Canada departments and agencies.
The events provide opportunities for information sharing, taking the political temperature of government and civil society groups on specific issues, informal discussion and networking, and discussion of strategies for developing and implementing collaborative action in these areas.
